Temporary cradles are mobilized platforms used on such as; building facades, silos, dams etc. They are used for facade works, painting, plastering, repair works etc. They can be dismantled and used on other projects. Platforms are modular and can be designed and fabricated from 1m to 15m length and Safe Working Load (SWL) capacity from 120Kg to 2.000 Kg. The vertical movement of the platform is provided with tractional hoists placed on each side of the platform. In case of unbalance or any wire rope breakages there are mechanical brakes and anti-tilt (Block Stop) brakes. The working height is as per the length of the wire rope. All temporary cradles are fabricated based on EN 1808:2015 standard and also related to EN 5974 standard for operations. Temporary Cradles are designed provide the maximum reach from the slab by over reaching the parapet. Temporary Cradles are balanced with multiple connections types such as; counterweight arms, I Beam monorails with manual/electrical trolleys or different type of steel brackets. The suspended platforms can be relocated and the platform can work vertically to cover another span. Suspended platforms are connected to standard or special design Brackets/Connection Arms. Besides Counterweight Arms and parapet clamps, platforms can be equipped with connection types to steel structure or soffit areas. Suspended platforms can be fabricated in modules. A 6m platform can be fabricated as 4m + 2m and can be used as 2m, 4m or 6m. These modules are based on clients’ requirements and design and fabricated accordingly. Suspended platforms can also be fabricated as L shape, U shape, V shape or as double deck. The stirrups which carry the hoists can be on the side ends, inside or on the back of the platform. Suspended platforms can be equipped with wire rope collecting drums and with an over load device.
